Veggies in the burbs
A special Method
Veggies in the Burbs use hydroponic technology to grow our produce. Hydroponics is the process of growing plants in a water environment without the use of soil. Because we don’t grow in soil, we don’t spend time tending to traditional problems that come from growing plants in soil, like worms and bugs or weeds. Instead we focus on rapidly growing more nutritious plants, which have larger greener leaves and richer flavors. This method allows us to rapidly grow nutrient-dense produce without harmful chemicals like pesticides and herbicides. By using 90% less water and 90% less land than conventional growing, we provide delicious natural foods for you.
‘Pastured Poultry’ are chickens that live outside in a natural habitat (on grass, in the fresh air and sunshine with room to roam and forage). By moving the chickens to fresh pasture every day, Pastured chickens are not only more healthy and delicious but also go beyond sustainability to regenerative our pastures. Experience the old-school flavor of chicken raised outside on pasture in fresh air and sunshine! We could call them pasture-raised, free range, cage-free, local, beyond organic, humane, sustainable, and more. But “back in the day”, it was just called “chicken.”
